Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Achilix Hoops, Coach Achilix, or any other Achilix applications, services, or websites (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and legally able to form a binding contract to use the Services.3. License Grant
Achilix grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use our Apps for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.4. User Accounts
You may sign in using Sign in with Apple. Apple may provide us with: your unique user identifier, display name (if shared), and email address (if shared). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Signing out may limit syncing across devices.5. Subscriptions & Billing
Some Services offer auto-renewable subscriptions with free trials. Billing is managed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment information. You may cancel or modify your subscription through your Apple ID settings. You may restore prior purchases at any time6. User Content
Achilix Hoops
Your basketball training data (shots, streaks, percentages) is stored locally and can be cleared in Settings.Coach Achilix
Chat messages and prompts you submit may be processed by our AI systems to generate responses. We do not sell your content.Feedback
If you send feedback or suggestions to Achilix, you grant us a royalty-free license to use them to improve the Services.7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer or modify the Apps
- Upload harmful code
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Use the Services in an unlawful or abusive manner8. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks (including Achilix, Achilix Hoops, and Coach Achilix), software, and designs are owned by Achilix or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ACHILIX DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACHILIX IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Achilix from any claims arising out of:
- Your misuse of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. Sections 7–14 survive termination.13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date and provide notice where required.14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

1. Introduction
Achilix, Inc. (“Achilix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use Achilix Hoops, Coach Achilix, or any related Achilix mobile applications, websites, or services (collectively, the “Apps”), how we use that information, and your rights. By using any Achilix App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.2. Data We Collect
We only collect data necessary to provide and improve our Apps.
Depending on which Achilix App you use, we may collect:
- Account Information
- Unique Apple user identifier
- Display name (if provided by Sign in with Apple)
- Email address (if shared through Sign in with Apple)
- App-Specific Data: Shot training data (attempts, makes/misses, streaks, percentages, session history). Stored locally on your device and never transmitted to Achilix servers (Achilix Hoops). Chat messages and prompts you enter in the app. Conversation history stored locally and optionally synced across devices using Sign in with Apple. Minimal processing through our AI provider to generate responses (Coach Achilix). We do not sell or use your data for training unrelated models.
- Purchase & Subscription Data: Auto-renewable subscription status, entitlements, and trial eligibility. Processed entirely by Apple’s StoreKit — we do not receive or store credit card information.
- Device & Diagnostics: Device model, OS version. Crash logs or error reports to improve stability. No advertising identifiers collected.
- Communications: Emails or support messages sent to [email protected].We DO NOT Collect:
- GPS or continuous location
- Microphone or camera recordings
- Contacts, photos, or files
- Advertising or marketing analytics data3. How We Use Your Data
We use data to:
- Operate and provide features of the Apps
- Link your account and history across devices
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases
- Provide personalized feedback (e.g., chat responses in Coach Achilix)
- Improve app features, performance, and safety
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligationsWe never sell or rent your data.4. Data Sharing
We only share data with trusted parties when necessary:
- Apple: authentication, in-app purchases, subscription validation
- Service Providers: hosting, AI inference, crash/error reporting (only what is needed to perform the service)
- Legal Authorities: only if required by lawWe do not share your data for advertising or marketing.5. Local Storage & Cookies
The Apps may use secure local storage (e.g., UserDefaults, on-device files) to remember preferences and user history.
No advertising cookies are used.6. Data Retention
Achilix Hoops training history is stored locally until you delete it.
Coach Achilix conversations are stored locally and removable at any time.
Subscription and purchase data is stored by Apple per their policies.
Support emails are retained as needed.
You may sign out at any time to stop account syncing.7. Security
We use Apple’s secure frameworks (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit) and industry-standard encryption where appropriate. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data.8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may:
- Access, correct, or delete your data
- Clear all local data in the applicable App settings
- Sign out of your account
